TRAVELING PATIENTS

Out-Of-State Patient Consultation

In order to accommodate patients from out of state, we can do much of the consultation process via mail, email and phone. While this could never replace a one-on-one consultation with the doctor, it is a nice first step.

1. Fill out our new patient registration forms. These can be sent via mail or e-mail.
2. Return completed forms along with photos of your areas of concern to our office.
3. Schedule a phone consultation with Dr. Millard. This is typically 45 minutes.

During the phone consultation, Dr. Millard will review your medical history and answer any questions you might have. Typically, he can give you recommendations on procedures which can be done to address your specific areas of concern.

After the phone consult, the patient coordinator will put together a fee quote for you based on what you and Dr. Millard have discussed.

You may decide to come to Colorado for an in-office consultation to confirm your decisions or schedule surgery based on the phone consultation. We can do much of the pre-operative work ahead of time, from your home state. The day before the surgery date, we would see you for a pre-operative appointment in order to sign consent forms and take pre-operative photos.

The length of stay required here in Colorado post-operatively varies based on the procedure being performed.

How to take your photographs

Please take several photos similar to these either nude or with underwear or a bathing suit on. Photos can be taken digitally and emailed to info@millardplasticsurgery.com

I have also had patients take pictures of them in the mirror, this works if you do not have someone else to take the pictures for you.

• Transportation from the airport, or other destination, to the medical facility
• Transportation to the airport, or other destination, after medical treatment
• Assistance after treatment including overnight stay at my home if needed
• Contact with the medical staff if any questions or problems arise
• Prescription pick-up if needed

Out-of-town Package

$1050 for your entire stay Includes:

• Transportation from Denver International Airport
• Transportation to your pre-op appointment
• Transportation to get your blood-work done (if needed)
• Overnight stay at my house
• Transportation to the surgery center
• Transportation from the surgery center to my house
• Care for 3 days after surgery if you stayed overnight at the surgery center and 4 if I pick you up directly after surgery.
• Transportation to your post-op appointment
• Transportation to Denver International Airport
• All meals are included (these well be light, nutritional meals that will promote a speedy recovery)

Services priced individually

• Transportation:
  $35 per hour with one-hour minimum plus $.50 per mile.


• Care of Patient:
  Pick up after surgery with overnight stay in my home in Castle Pines North area (South Denver). Meals are included. Also includes transportation to the medical facility for post-op appointment the following day.
  $200 per patient/day


• Care of patient in my home after surgery without transportation. Meals are included.
  $175 per patient/day


• Pick-up of prescriptions:
